Dilger this morning on ITV news using these surveys for blatant farmer bashing. I know at the time of the survey we had no curlews but 4 have returned which is 2 more than last year. We accept swallows go elsewhere for the winter so why not curlews.

Heard more curlew in this last 2 weeks than for many years (y) wish I had the ability to have recorded dawn chorus the other weekend, it was like an orchestra, beautiful.
