Just been reading comments on fb.
Personally I think the tractor driver should have sat and waited at the scene.
Can you imagine the disruption it would have caused with him blocking the road with all the people trying to get through once the meet had finished. It would have taken hours to clear the road, the car owners would have looked right fools after without the potential threat of criminal damage. But then why should the sheep have to suffer.
Then again maybe the tractor driver thought he could squeeze through , it was only after he realised he couldn't

Probably some poor fecker at the end of his tether with cars abandoned on the side of the road leaving him inadequate space to pass. What was he to do, wait until the car owners returned while he had work to do.
I wonder if the insurance companys call it 50/50 as it is a narrow country road, well that is normally what they do with colllisions on narrow roads :).

It's crazy up in the lakes now. They just abandon they're cars anywhere with no thought for the people who live and work there! We get them parking on our lane which is single track.., they literally block the road and fudge off for a walk to let Fido dump on someone's field! The amount of times I've had to sit and wait for them to return.., tried explaining to them that my tractor is no wider than a fire engine and that they're causing a serious issue. Fair play to farmer in question, obviously left his glasses at home that day "officer"

I feel the drivers pain.

At the end of our drive is a series of tight bends around the church, with the primary school on the other side of the road. No access for us during term time at morning and afternoon pick up times. Even when asked politely not to park on the corner the brainless parents just abandon their car "I have to pick up my child you know" They then stand in the playground discussing the days Jeremy Kyle and Loose Women episodes they had to rush home to watch, the amount of times I have been tempted to pull on through.

How anyone can believe that was a good end result in terms of agricultural PR is beyond me. It's criminal damage. I bet at least one of those cars is a write off.

Two wrongs certainly do not make a right.

They don't andyou are exactly right in what you say, but when you have to deal with these brainless morons, who think only of themselves on a daily basis it becomes extremely tempting.
