Well it’s been a while since I posted I’ve been busy at blackbrow helping the new owners get going at the minute it’s only ewes and Hoggs doing around 700 hoggs and 100 ewes in 2 days there is a automated line going in at the end of may ready for the big eid festival the new line will run between 150-250 per hour they will eventually offer private kill and local butchers kill the cattle line will also be in operation so things are looking pretty good

Pigs ?
No pigs the pig tank and dehairer have been removed to make room for the new sheep line

I now understand why the pig line has been removed.
You still availableI would love the opportunity to get the place going I started my working life there so I would give it my all also I have the right man to manage the grading and weighing side just hope somebody open minded purchases it

Really pleased for you, your posts from the sharp end of abattoir operation are an education for those of us who wouldn't have a business without you and your colleagues. If the new owners need any new kit then there is a grant scheme recently launched by Defra providing 40% funding, they should know about it but worth just checking.
