Make sure you have the filter fitted properly , make sure it is in the groove all the way round touching the seal and not jammed against the edge of the groove the seal fits in as it doesn’t take much for it to draw air and won’t bleed , hopefully you got the new seal in without any twists and no dirt under it . If that’s is ok it should bleed itself in a couple of mins on a high tick over , also plenty of oil in it
Don't overtighten the filter bolt. Just nip it up. Shouldn't need bled if only a filter change but if you've no power steering or hydraulics working, you'll need to remove the priority valve briefly. Up underneath and below the filter, there are two large plugs. Unscrew the front one, catch the spring and you should be able to push a finger up into a hollow plunger (priority valve) and slide it out. Put a bucket under and start the engine. Oil will come out. Stop engine, replace plunger, spring and plug. Good to go.
Easier option as jack p above but just slack off a steering pipe on the front axle a little put a tray underneath ,start it up & turn the steering wheel one way , air will sone come out if somewhere to go
Haven't succeeded with that method yet and have always had to remove the valve but that was only after draining the oil, but not with just a filter change...
