Blood inside egg

This morning I bought 6 eggs from local shop ,the box had free range and a local supplier near to Newtown.first egg was ok when cracked in pan but inside the second egg was blood which means it had been fertilised
Free range producers should be more with cockerels

When we had a good retail sale for eggs , we occasionally got one with a blood spot or a meat spot in them . People would come and complain that they had chicks in them . These were Battery hens with not a male in sight , not even a "meg-harry" I used to tell them to look for the bright star in the East , like there was the first time that happened . (all in the best possible taste of course )

Needless to say, squeamish, She dumped the lot.
Don't think I'd fancy it either.
That'll learn her to crack into a cup first.
