Bluetooth connection intermittent to pickup radio speaker ????

Yesterday the Bluetooth connection between my iPhone and truck radio, started being intermittent, most annoying when trying to converse on the go. Any suggestions what is the cause of the problem and how do I rectify the problem. Many Thanks.

What if anything has changed? Phone updated itself in the meantime perhaps?
