Is anyone able to help me identy/find the equivalent bolt? It's M12, 21mm head, 50mm of thread (all the way) approx. Thank you.

Got a picture of the thread Stoosh? - it has the look of weirdly sized toffee motor to gearbox set screw to me.

R grade is high tensile for either BA, BSF or BSW. I’m not sure from your different posts above what diameter it is, but measure it correctly and compare it to thread charts for 12 TPI. I would think it’s Whitworth. And it’s a set screw if it’s threaded all the way down

Perhaps some of our American friends can help.

I've fitted little battery camera at the side of the house, Uefy is the make, the thread in the back is 1/4 unc. American firm although no doubt made in Asia somewhere.

Hmmm...... best find someone with proper thread gauges & a vernier or micrometer to confirm the size............first 50% of the thread looks worn like it may be a slightly different thread or the mating thread needs a clean up....................Local smiddy/engineer or old school village garage should be able to help.

The threads just need a caliper and thread gauge to identify.

The letters on the bolt head, I've only seen on low grade hardware store bolts as the only form of ID on them, so you can grab one bolt, no barcode or sticker and the cashier can type in three letters and it brings up the price. The letters aren't any kind of bolt grade that I've seen. No idea if that's what this is or not.
