Hi first post.
Bomford Highwayman pto connection on the machine, what is it called it is not spline just approx. 35mm male or 1.369" also it is secured in place by a grub screw and locking nut.
I need a new pto shaft is there a adapter to go to 6 spline or does this fitting have a name or what is the pto called with this fitting.
Thanks

It's a keyway. You should be able to get a new pto shaft with that end. Failing that, if that yolk is good, it could be swapped over onto an off the shelf 6 spline shaft. What bit of the pto shaft is knackered?

hi thanks for the reply.
I have only now got the end with the keyway and that has a slightly off square end it is 26.92mm x 24.04mm or roughly 1"x 7/8" inside measurments.
someone thought they could use the other end better than me.
but when I ask on sites for this fitting to buy no one gets back to you.
Thanks
