Bonnet guard stopping bonnet

probably a silly question but
have the loan of a 6420 jd for a few days, this one has a Bonnet guard on the front for the loader.


when I try to lift the bonnet, the bonnet guard catches it meaning I can’t lift it up. How can I get around this?

With loader it's a stockman's tractor, so JD knew the engine would never be accessed for maintenance. Only joking, there's a little pin on the guard that pulls back and the top folds down
