Boris Is Toast

When I was on the county council we had a character stand as an independent and he was elected . He had the biggest majority on the whole council .
He was 'anti establishment ' but was very popular with a lot of voters . ...I'm not saying it's right but an awful lot of people say " good old Boris ....he is showing them !"
Same was said about the Cllr ..... people came out to vote for him who had never voted before !
And was this local councillor a force for good or a lying cheating charlatan like the current PM?

Do you think this outsider image will survive the cost of living crunch this spring?

I would say no more than this .....he sailed and sails very close to the wind.
I'm only really trying to make the point that just sometimes someone who rocks the boat, rightly or wrongly, will bring out a certain type of voter . This will happen in Boris's case...

He did, in 2019, hence the ‘red wall’ crumbling temporarily. They won’t come out to back the Conservative Party again, especially under the current leader.
He is damaging the reputation of the Conservatives by living up to the ‘only in it for themselves’ image that has brought them down before.

Andrew Neil doing a hatchet job on poor old Boris on C4 Dispatches just now.
Good to see him back from the nonsense of GB News.👍
It was good to see Andrew Neil back in the land of rational reporting again. He certainly blew a fuse in Gove's head when he showed him that government lockdown poster.

Nothing to do with rational reporting.
He's lucky to find another bit of driftwood to cling onto.
It is amusing to note that the sad fekk ran away from a new project when he discovered he had virtually no following at all. At least. Not enough to give him a stiffy.
In fact.
You've probably got a bigger audience than he. 🤣🤣

Must have done at some time with Pamela Bordes
