BPS entitlements

I used to be part of a family partnership in which I’ve had to sign the annual subsidy claim forms with my fellow partners . Now the partnership has been dissolved I’ve been asked to pay for the third of the entitlements I think are automatically mine because I have always been 1/3 of signature required to claim subsidies previously .
What do my fellow farmers and tenants think is the try answer to my quandary.

As useless without you tell them?

Why have they asked you to pay for entitlements that are yours?

They would be yours to sell to the business in my view.

Sorry, short for thirds.

The entitlements belong to the business as an asset, so surely you already own 1/3 of them as a partner? They owe you, not the other way around.

Yes, that could be the case. Is one of the partners buying the rest of you out? If the OP is buying the others out, the OP should pay for 2/3.

The entitlements are owned by the business, you surely own a share of them pro rata to your share in the partnership?
