That to me means one of two things.
You have no rent or mortgage to find.
or its so little it will make naff all difference?

Its most def 100% part of my cashflow & earning cap of the holding i rent so when or if it has a major change then so will my rent altho quite how i get to that end result is another story altogether :scratchhead:

I do pay rent. It is a reasonable rate as I am on a aha but not silly low. The bps payment will cover it. But I am lucky and farm a business following on from my parents who where very sensible with there profits from the boom 80’s years farming and we put in external money to manage cash flow if needed. Only had to do that once in 7 years though. But we have been very lucky and been paid at the start nearly every time. This year I might have been tight if it hadn’t come in, but I have a lot of store cattle and would have just had to sell some, be that sooner than maybe hopped, but there we go.

Going back to renting. I’ve only once managed to secure summer grazing at reasonable money, then I lost it the next year. Everything here is generally taken by dairy farmers who even last year were paying over the odds (One of them often chats to me about how he is loosing money [emoji57]). So I have no sympathy for them. I am not saying you are doing this, just an observation from my area and getting off topic a bit.

When do inspections end for this year. Had one 3 weeks ago

What did they inspect? Would have thought it would be very difficult to check things now as 2018 cropping is very different to what was in the ground in May

We only got out no issues letter from our June inspection about 10days ago

You just sound like your being careful & theres nowt wrong with that.
ive had to put money into this business on more than one occasion but everyone's circumstances are different.
I dont have any livestock so cashflow has peaks n troughs thru the season as i have a limited income stream.
Folks say oh id have that shed full of cattle etc etc, ive little free space to be honest by the time i put all my gear undercover & store the cheaper bought early season fert in most cases but not every year. there is limited space left. we pulled out the stock job nearly 22years ago now. ive no regrets & iam buggered if iam starting that again now.
Expanding from the acres i also have on a AHA tenancy is ni on impossible unless you want to pay easily a 3 figure sum, plus it will be miles away if you can find anything & there's little point in doing that. Farm is 80% arable now with old permanent grass which isnt fertilized in HLS/ELS anyways so just gets lightly grazed by the neighbors stock & Hay/Silage off some of it thru the summer.

I remember hearing about the RPA mapping a few months back and think it said you should check your "messages" around November time. So far no messages though.

Short of checking every map for every field is there another simpler way to tell if they've been meddling?

It sounds to me like you've got no mapping changes made but I'm not meant to give technical advice on individual cases so please don't take this as gospel.

Not a problem. Thank you for the reply.

Has all re-mapping finished now do you know?

They are a bit vague on this as I suspect remapping is a bit like repainting the forth bridge but I think we can assume it's done for the purposes of advising claimants that now is the time to check if you have any notifications/ messages on your webpage.
And of course, continuing the strangulated forth bridge analogy - we are now we are in the period where it's up to those who own or rent the components of the bridge to check to see if it's been painted the right colour!

They applied all our changes from the 2015 remote sensing this time last year as I had to fix them all this spring when I logged in, so not sure why they waited for others?

And what if we supplied the correct paint, correct information on how to do the job but they then changed the colour and spec without telling us?
