Was getting on fine from 7.15 till about 9.15 am then got a lot slower as all the office folks logged on again. GAve up about half 10. Will do some more tomorrow morning I think.

What do you guys put in the activity when the majority of field is arable but maybe some other bits of grass/ fallow etc? I have just been sticking in Arable if the field is all ploughable.

I would go with arable as the fallow counts as your total arable area.

Buggerall?

Unless the software is suddenly improved and folks can actually apply for bps.

Savilles and ckdgalbraiths will have spent a small fortune of estate owners money to find loop holes in order for their clients to claim the subsidy.

Lockheeds threat of officials "closely scrutinising" applications is a poor joke. They're too busy inspecting the softer target active producers.

This new slipper farming situation is something that common sense should have foreseen. Instead £150 million was spent on a fancy webpage front end to software that doesn't work.

Sorry for the negative and flippant response, I'm just very sickened by the whole fiasco.

just submitted my bps, took about 3 hours, which is about an hour longer than the old site took , but on the the whole it was relatively simple and straight forward, so cant complain. quite relieved after reading all the horror stories, either i'm really lucky or they've got the glitches sorted or some people have been mischief making :)

Mine is done but not submitted.

System is slow which was my biggest problem. Did mine early mornings and late at night.

I finished mine off today and submitted. Speed was much better than a couple of weeks ago.

Website doesn't seem too bad when you don't have to wait 30secs to a minute for the page to reload.

Submitted a friends application, first time I have completed an application either paper or online. Website was up and running with no bother and had a couple of questions which where easily answered by a phonecall to the department who could log on and see what was happening.

Seemed pretty straightforward to me. To be fair just a grass farm. Got an arable place to have a look at so will see how that turns out.
