Without dissenters you cannot have a debate or a discussion. What do you want? A collection of Brexiters all nodding in synch!
Do you not want to be challenged? Do you not want to hear the argument for the alternative case? Do you want this forum to die of boredom?
you want a collection of crap gleaned from totally biased newspapers
well that's about all you put on here nothing meaningful

Not at all. Of course there needs to be sensible argument and from both sides. That doesn't mean taking everything negative that a newspaper says as being gospel and uploading it straight onto the thread. (Or a so called charity for that matter, in you know who's case!)

Where in your case it has become a bit on the boring side is that you are not in the UK, did not get to vote in our Referendum.
You obviously would have preferred that we Remain part of the EU for either your own and/or ROI's benefit.

You seem to post anything you can find that could "Rub our noses in it" when you think we will (fail that is).
First it seemed like a joke. Now it has become rather boring!

Well, time will tell. But I think you may be surprised at how well we do outside the EU.

Blocked @itsyourself 6 months ago, he's been pulled up numerous times, and then scuttles off to another thread, he still can't answer my points on how the snp thinks it can remain in the eu,

I think it boils down to, that he lives in the little area of Moray in Scotland, doesn't get out much, and seems to have got rather bitter at this whole brexit thing, His whole council area has less people living in it than a small town, so it probably explains his love of mass immigration, ie, he has had none of it :ROFLMAO::LOL:
How do you block somebody?

I really am becoming very bored at this bloke clogging up the forum with absolutely pointless crap. He's wasting my time and spoiling my enjoyment of it. I'd rather only be seeing sensible posters from both sides, making valid points that can be properly debated and enjoyed.

I give my opinion on the direction of Brexit. It's my opinion! I'll argue and defend my point of view with anybody. I have no issue with Brexit per se. I have said before and I repeat it now. The people voted out. End of story. It now has to happen. End of story. Nobody has a right to prevent it. End of story.

BUT ...... for British people with a vote they need to be very very engaged with the process and the direction.

For other like me, it's just incredible history unfolding before our eyes. I'm a political anorak I'm afraid. I take great interest in these matters and on an open forum I choose to engage.

Brexit minded people of course can only be happy that the government is pushing ahead and I imagine many don't take the time to challenge the groupthink at the top with regards to the aftermath of Brexit. The euphoria of having broken free hasn't given a chance for a critical scan of the horizon and what lies beyond.

I wouldn't ever want to ride blindly behind Boris and his chums.

A good post and quite right too.

However, I disagree with the bit about Boris and 'chums' - assuming you mean DD and LF. Fox is decent enough and consistent, DD is - I think - what a politician should be and has only made one daft decision, i.e. his resignation regarding 'snooping'. Other than that he is self-made, honest and speaks and acts on principal. Anyway, Boris gets his orders from TM and she is a safe pair of hands.

Edit to ask: not taking the p*ss, but from an Irish perspective did you think we might be 'asked again'? And what was you opinion of that happening in Eire?

I don't know about many of the rest of you, but I am getting a little bored with a couple (one in particular) of posters on here that seem to deliberately revel in running this country down as if it it a good thing to do.

I was thinking along similar lines earlier today whilst merrily pruning an olive tree, a job that does not require a lot of brain activity once you have decided what is to be cut out, and what is to be left.

I was not bored, but thought we almost have a Five Nations Doom and Gloom competition lined up. Scotland, Ireland and France already have their Champion, but I thought that England and Wales had failed to come up with a reasonable representative so far. Any claimers?

Whoever joins in, my money is on Scotland to take the Grand Slam.
