It's really not working out well for the smug doom-mongers is it? This is going to happen, this isn't going to happen etc. etc. It didn't and it did. LOL, as you say on the internet.

Ayup ................ when one sheep breaks from the flock, and raids the field of barley next door, you can be sure it's mates will soon join in
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...lt-conservative-neil-carmichael-a7558056.html

If this is what you are pinning your hopes on i think youve backed a lame horse.. I dont know why he is in the conservative party he should have been a lib dem, Neil Carmichael is one of those intellectually and emotionally vacuous politicians much like his best friends like Anna soubry.. he is the chairman of the conservative group for europe and basically feels important and is doing important things swanning round talking ya ya to Conservative thinking MEPS in Brussels.. i cant seriously believe the claim that he was a farmer in Northumberland, he looks more like hes of antiques roadshow and talks like it.

He is also the head of the TRG (tory reform group) a group of emotionally faffy senseless people on the left of of centre and a few i'm so important career politicians trying to further there cause... https://www.trg.org.uk/events/list/?tribe_event_display=past&tribe_paged=1
to see a few names on there preaching to themselves .. That fruit loop like the sound of her own voice and emulate Maggy, without the substance Nicky Morgan probably not waffy enough to fall on her sward like her mates and knows whats good for her career... lunches and talks on the TRG----

What happens if Scotland votes one way and England the other? it doesnt matter dont you know the rules? it was a uk referendum were not splitting up the uk were every seat that voted leave or remain can become an independent area, Scotland is given the referendum by parliament it cant bring it up every other year. More Scots voted to remain in the uk than for the uk to remain in European Union, a third more and the Scots have never been asked if they want to leave the uk union and join the EU and have a land border with England. Do you need a lunch and speak to know this? These people jimny kranky and all dont need more encouragement from waffy twits like you...'policy supper with syd kamall MEP for London..another chum with his job on the line.. Ken clarke mentioned a likeable chap at face value but who cares only about the city, has said the 'plebs' should never of got the vote (not nice to the electorate) and himself and Blair tried to take us into the Euro which would have been disastrous, and made it much harder for us to leave now its all going teats up.
I really dont think there is much hope of this bunch of emotionally vacuous Guardian readers changing anything at all, i would think they are mostly seen as pretentious sentimental lightweights who are in the wrong party.. why try and reform the conservatives into the lib dems just go and join the lib dems?
Anyway..(n)

His own websitte says "His family background was associated with hill farming". It also says he owns a 135 that he is refurbishing. Make of that what you will.

He has also been described as a hypocrite because he wanted to build a wind farm on land he owns in the Hexham area (no idea if it went ahead but @jendan will know) whilst objecting to one windmill in his constituency.

The benefits of the upcoming trade deal with China explained here.
British government’s vaunted China export deals don't add up
http://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-britain-china-trade-idUKKBN15L10K

You're right, Figures don't add up.

In one paragraph the article says that total exports to China have added up to only £6 billion from announced deals. In another paragraph it says that jag land rover exported £8 billion in one year alone.

Personally I think it is sensationalist journalism, just trying to get readers.
