Routine scanning yesterday been on with sexcel samson or blue fertility in general over the milking herd, results so far looking great. Hopefully Bryster sexcel be in tank soon. Last week got next batch of bullers ready a mix of Holsteins and my first chads and a few Quentins. Looking to pick a friesian bull to cover the lot so not wanting a chad son and preferably protect front rear placement even pull them in a bit. What have people been using and getting big framed calves?

I’ve been using premier and Tonto on my Chad’s. Genus have got Goonhilly Barack available soon, looks quite exciting

.....but only 50 sheaths which seems a bit mean.

I thought you mostly used natural service bulls?

LOL further across out of the picture it says X2! Yes mostly natural service bulls but there is always some that are bulling at night that won't stand in the morning so they get AI. Before the days of an AI tank here I used to have too get the cow out at night time to serve her when she was standing. Bulls don't run with the cows other than a Lim to sweep up in the lows at Grass in the summer.
