Broccoli Soft Head Rot

Hello,

Having a bit too much damp weather lately and starting to get signs of soft head rot in my broccoli crop.

I have adopted a spray program with preventative and curative fungicides for alternaria, which has worked well to control alternaria, although it isn't having much impact on the bacterial soft head rot.

Copper is apparently helpful but its winter here down under and frosts are prevalent. What are growers using to limit/control soft head rot in broccoli?

Copper has been banned in Europe for 20+ years

Copper has been banned in Europe for 20+ years

It hasn’t but I don’t think its been cleared for brassicas for a few years. You can still buy it.
