Looking for over centre broom wall clips like this for a 13mm shaft half inch knuckle bar....

Except everything I can find are for 18 -28 mm shafts.

I want to clamp a 600mm knuckle bar to the outside of my tractor toolbox (because it doesn't fit inside obviously).

Spring clips are no use and broom handle wall clips seemed like the right thing, but I can't find anything that's for a small enough diameter.

Help?

Tape some rubber hose of the right size to your tool box carrying handle, i did it to my tool box to hold a long auger bit for drilling gate posts !
Now then rubber hose spilt along its length and taped to the knuckle bar might fit into the broom clips.

Not as elegant as smaller clips that work on the half inch diameter, but it'll do the job (y)

You sure this thread wasn't just an excuse to post a pic of your far too tidy toolbox!

Not that I'm envious or anything........

I comitted the cardinal sin and cut my breaker bar to fit the box.
I'd a nice one which I broke and I bought one too long, which was a bloody pain anyway so I cut it down.
Stick a bit of pipe in the box too if ultimate torque is the problem.

i tip my cap Jay, great find there, just the right thing and local too.

i do like your brand choice, my favorite if i do say so.
how do you like the adjustable spanner, i have 2 of them and altho im not a fan of such a tool they have their place at the same time.
i have a few other brands of them but i really like the facom, its nice and tight but smooth.
bought a carolus automatic adjustable the other day, a 8" one, give it a spin the other day on pipe fittings and i found it pretty handy, no need to pull it off to go back, it just ratchets.
