Do well to get them to stand 9 high.

We have a Chapman 80, you need a good grab driver and you turn the bales in some of the lairs to tie them in.
Hard work in soft meadow hay, but strong hay and straw they stand forever.

Had no problems stacking to 9 high in hay and straw, just cross 5th layer and pack good weight bales.
Can alter top down to suit the height of your stack sold as a 56/72 bale carrier.
Will also move 8 or 10 4 string bales according to instruction book
