Bucket grease guns

I am fed up with buying expensive bucket grease guns that pack up after about a year. Has anyone come across a really reliable and durable gun as I have tried models throughout the price range and spending mega bucks seems to make no difference.

Fuch guns are so much easier. There are plenty of threads about grease guns.

The speedy grease gun has been good so far. Supposedly no air locks (we haven't had any yet)

So the conclusion seems to be to avoid bucket guns like the plague. I am inclined to buy a good gun and a bucket filler pump. Cartridges are too expensive and though the Fuchs idea has merit it looks like a bit of a honey trap.

Cartridges will save you a huge amount of mess and waste.you will soon run out of rags to keep everything clean aswell.

We've a bucket. It's a spaldings one. Years old though. Spot on. No more messy than changing bloody cartridges. To be fair though machinery is back at base every night so it's easy to whip round with it in the morning.
Oh it's air powered too.

Have had a Spaldings bulk filler for 20+ years and a Mcnaught gun not much younger , works for me ok . Greasing everything at home though.

Never tried those. But what does get my back up is when someone has greased up in the field and leaves empties laying about.

Tecalemit used to be the dogs danglers, I had one 30 years and never missed a beat, Don't if what they sell now is any good though.

Had the spalding air operated one for 3 yrs and the one before over 10yrs
