Hi,
A lorry driver has had an incident with 1 of our bulk bins this morning, nothing to serious just bust the vent pipe off. Does anyone know some one York area based who can fix it? Will be a cherry picker job as it's a high discharge bin.

Many thanks

If it's an EB or Collinson bin then parts should be readily available. Hire a cherry picker and shouldn't be too hard to fix. Assume it's an ins job. Don't forget to value your own time

It's an old Kirncroft bin so not sure on parts for it. It's just the top elbow and down pipe that needs replacing. Annoyingly we're hoping to sell it next year as we want to run an auger off it and don't need the high discharge.

If it’s just the vent pipe/elbow plastic drain pipe should do it just put a couple of screws at joints. We use the same for delivery pipes just use a stainless elbow as plastic doesn’t last Link
