At £40/t, every bag is costing you a pound! I don't use much in the way of feed, but I would begrudge paying a pound a bag for the convenience of having it in a bag already.
The only time I would every buy in bags, is when the order is below the minimum bulk order. I have a 9.6t bin with a bagging shoot, sit a plastic tub underneath to get a bag at the right height, then fill a bag. Simple, no spillage.
