Bull sales/showing experience.

If anyone needs a extra pair of free hands at bull sales or shows (preferably Simmental) but beggars can’t be choosers. Let me know.

For the last 10years I’ve been building a pedigree herd of Simmental cattle, the next step is to start doing the odd show. Could do with some experience on the general preparation of the cattle and generally getting a look at how the job works.
based in the Peak District but I’ll travel pretty much anywhere.
Any experience welcomed.
Feel free to pm or call or text me.
Thanks Wayne. 07772323444

Firstly it's great to hear that you are wanting to venture into the show ring (y) and I look forward to seeing you out and about next summer!
Have you contacted your local breeders club? They sometimes have show prep days, and might also be able to point you in the direction of some friendly breeders. @Hesstondriver would probably give you some pointers and advice, he's the resident Simmental showman on here.
You'd be welcome to come and have a few days with us if you wanted. We have pedigree Blondes, so slightly different to Simmys but a lot of the principles would be the same. We're only at Flagg so I don't think we will be a million miles from yourself. Pm me if you're interested (y)

Yes , great you are wanting to don the white coat! shows and showing are as much about the fun and social aspects as competing (i always say this when i dont win!) . a great place to make new friends.

i know a quite a few people with Simmys so can possibly point you in the direction of those who are closer to you!

Don’t know how to tag people but thanks whitepeak I’ll pm you.
That would be very handy Hesstondriver, and if you ever need a spare pair of hands just let me know.
Thanks.
