Is everyone coping?
Rung united utilities yesterday morning as they had a helpline to ring for them to bring water onto farms for animals to drink..very helpful was the lady and put us on the list....day and a half later and still waiting to hear from them. We did think they would be a waste of time so just went out and bought some more troughs and set them at front of sheds and pumped beck water into an ibc and got them all watered.....wonder how many cattle United utilities have managed to get wattered? ?

It’s a bloody joke, we have a private supply which they condemn every year at a cost of £500 a time. It’s far better than the mains and much cleaner but is not deemed drinking water.
They tell us they want us to be greener and more environmentally friendly then try and force us to pay mega bucks to get mains supply which is economical and environmentally unviable.

Just hope they don't do like Severn Trent did round here a few years ago. Large area went off, and they sent my friend several pallets of bottled water! My mate nearly wore his thumb out opening all the bottles for the cows ?

Not mine. They came last night with a pallet of bottled water on a wagon for cattle.
