Business rate changes in budget for leisure etc, premises

I was wondering if anyone had heard any more about the zero rating for leisure, holiday and museum type premises announced in the budget. They said it would be free for premises under £50g rateable value but I was wondering whether they will still be taking the April 1st payment as I haven't heard anything. I thought I would see if anyone else had any news before bothering the council. :)

Hi, we have holiday lets. The council should not take any rates from 1st April. Check their website to be sure on dates but they should reinvoice you for £0 for 12 months! We cancelled our direct debit to be safe. They have since emailed us a form which we filled out with regards to claiming the government issued grant money too. Hope that helps!
