Button for new posts in a thread

Which button do you mean exactly?

You should just be able to click on the threads title and it will take you to the last unread post (even across different devices - it is tied to your login)

I've been trying to press the blue dot in between the avatar and the thread title (blushing smilie)

Why? That blue dot takes you to the first un-read post in a thread.

Yes, apparently it does. This is the only forum I'm on that works like this, all the others go the first post if you click on the title
