Buying Forage for Sucklers

Anyone willing to share their cost calculations for making fodder this year? See how many broken calculators are out there! I bought hay in late spring for £80/t, diesel and fert prices this year I couldn’t see much in it compared with making my own.
I can share mine - 0

I bought ten bales last week for $100 cash each, which is below COP any way I can work it out.

Nearly $85 of fertiliser in them at current prices, and all the heavy metals are on someone else's land not mine.
$16 of plastic. $10 of fuel in the various tractors employed.
Doesn't leave much in their pocket for wear+tear!

In (sunny). Lanarkshire there seems to me to be bales everywhere and mostly good can’t see how the price for them will be high I wouldn’t like to rely on bought in feed for coos but some years it might be cost effective
