Climate Change policy destroying UK jobs whilst making imports cheaper and cheaper just isn't going to promote UK industry.

But we haven't left the EU yet
. Same line we got when there was no emergency budget after the referendum, or there was no rise in inflation or there was no mass job losses, or there was no recession, or there was no crash in the financial markets. Ordinary businesses up and down the country are simply getting on with it creating jobs, creating wealth and paying their taxes.
All the media is interested in doing is telling us about foreign owned companies, threatening to pull out of the UK, who have no real interest in UK plc or making it work.

There was gonna be more than 250,000 job losses in London just on the result of a leave vote apparently. HSBC warned they would leave and take 2000 jobs after a leave result. So far they have done fudge all. Not that anyone would care a fudge if they did leave.
