Calf creep feeder

We are looking to buy a calf creep feeder. What’s the best one out there?

I have a Watson. Happy enough with it but the 3 point linkage points are awful and u can't lift with front linkage. Have to use back linkage in put the arms in.

I’ve heard Watson are good. Lad down the road has Bateman creep feeders and they aren’t that strong.

hirstle fabrications make good creeps!!!
have nylon rollers for door just off touches make them a bit better and they are heavy duty.

only ever carry mine with loader they hang funny but I'm told they all do a bit?

Portequip would be good if you could actually use the top bar setting.
Also, the 3 point linkage won't take cat 2 pins.

just they get harder to open with being a solid bar that your shoveing back?

We have a Watson and a Bateman, both do the job. Watson is a lot stronger built, far more steel in it, in fact the Bateman rolled over in some strong winds we had a couple of years ago, and the hopper has come loose. Bateman you can infinitely adjust the horizontal bar whereas the Watson has 4 fixed positions. I'm not over keen on the bird flaps in the Watson as I think it might put off calves initially. I think the Watson will outlast the Bateman despite only being painted and not galv.
