Calf House

Thinking of changing the layout of the calf shed, floor slopes all roads and directions so want to sort drainage. was going to create pens across the shed about 35ft long and 15ft wide, wondered what sort of slope I should have on the floor to drain any liquid to the front of the pens into a drain.

Also wondering if I should create an area at the back with panels rather than sheeted gates - any preference/experience out there with either.

thanks

the thinking behind that is to keep the bedding dry.....liquid will drain to the slatted tank and each pen is seperated by a solid stub wall....there is no risk of contamination or walking through liquid .I the falls are right and levels that wont happen
