Just wondering if anyone can shed light on what’s going on with him.
He’s a 2 week old Charolais being fed on a teat feeder (mum died from horrendous caesarean). Feeding 2 litres 3 times a day. All was well with him until Monday. He’s now lethargic and not that keen for milk. I substitute the middle feed with electrolytes. He’s had 3 days of Buscopan, Norodine and a multivitamin. Today he had a dose of cocci drench.
His dung has been like green soft ice cream and today it has turned black and watery. Normally I would associate black poo with blood from the stomach but it’s not like black treacle as I would expect. His tummy feels and looks a bit gassy and I’ve not heard any burping for a couple of days.
Any ideas?
Thanks
