Im currently undertaking an archaeology degree with the open University, As part of this process I'll be writing a thesis on loacal history. Hopefully this will encourage others to take an interest in there local area and the rich history that comes with this.

To help with with my course I'm looking for access to farmland and pastures in the Wakefield / Banskey area to look for objects and artifacts using a metal detector.

Due to full time work commitments I would only be looking to detect for a few hours per week.

I know you probably get a lot of these requests, but if you don't ask, you don't get.
