I am in the same boat as you for my grain drying requirement, budget gas was great, phone up and delivered the next day. Calor on the other hand, I set up an account on line and once a week ordered a fill up, if I didn’t need it I cancelled it but the time from ordering to delivery was a week.

I’ll be shopping about nor next year but they do have us over a barrel what with tanks and not putting there gas in someone else’s tank?

I had exactly the same problem. Calor customer service no. permanentley engaged. I posted a review on Calor Trustpilot site, ( 1 Star ) there are several other complaints on there too. If you go on the Trustpilot site there is an email address [email protected]. I emailed this and had help getting an online account set up. You don't seem to be able to use the online account for ordering if you are a "Will phone " customer, but it will show up an order thats due.... I finally managed to order by ringing at 9 a.m on the dot which is when they open. It's showing the order is now due. Wether it gets delivered is another matter. Calor have run Budget for many years apparently, but its only just come out in the open. Hope this helps you.

I have ordered two 19kg bottles of Calor gas for over a month and they were invoiced out by Wynnstay but it turned out that all the bottles they had in stock were empties. They have been unable to get replacement stock from Calor. As it happens, I did have some gas left but this ran out about five days after I tried to get replacements. They have my empties.
More than a month to get cooking gas for the house is unheard of outside of wartime. What is this country coming to? It is fast going to the dogs in my opinion.
School catering managers have told individual school catering managers to order enough tinned and preserved food to last them until the end of January because the Government does not want schools having to shut due to there being no food for the children. Hope they order their energy supplies in plenty of time also.
We are a laughing stock throughout Europe and will remain so as things deteriorate further I'm afraid.

EDIT
Gas has arrived. A month and three days wait. FRYING TONIGHT!!

It's all a deliberate plan by the Govt. Boris has more or less said so... Not sure whether the "cure" the Tories cabinet are treating the UK with is not worse than doing FA!

Only occasionally do some grain drying. 4 liquid take offs ordered 10 Aug delivered 23rd Sept. Can get through easily to local Calor depot, they were just embarrassed by the whole thing.

Calor is getting expensive, local agent charging £45 for 15kg Butane, was talking to my mate last week he rang another local supplier £27 for 19kg Propane. Name on the bottles is Energas with a Hull area telephone code.

And no bottle deposit required either, where calor want about £40.

The same has happened here, Calor has closed the West Wales Gas depot in Llandysul, which they have owned for a while. We used to have an excellent service but this has deteriorated this season - brings back memories of when BP gas took over Handy gas, BP were a complete shower of sh!t.

Some of the drivers at Shell/BP coming out of Stanlow were a real bunch of a***holes, over the years many times left without a weekly delivery service and having to connect a multitude of 47kg bottles together.
After a near disaster one christmas with 16,000 day old chickens needing heat one of the drivers decided he'd have an early finish and not bother turning up, managed to get a small local chap to fill the tanks on xmas eve at 6 pm.
Offered the guy the business, swapped his tanks in and all went well for a couple of years, he then had some medical problem and sold up to another small, even more local firm, which then almost immediately sold out to calor, which fealt like we'd come full circle on service.
