Haha very true about caravans , but it's not farming is it?! Not sure mother in law would want every Tom Dick and harry coming in yard. Think I'm going to do some research as to what profit there is in them and go from there, thanks for all your help been very informative!
 
Just a rough guide..i bought 10 angus x calfs from our local market
mid december all steer calfs £250 ph reared them in a shed over winter turned out end of march
on some grass with a small amount of cake at the start ..Took them to cirencester market end of
growing season and they made £620 ph thats with £100 ph rearing costs,so £270 profit per animal not great
but better than leaving you cash in the bank...But not always like that lose one or two out of the batch and it all changes ..as they say you do the maths...all the best
