I’m a 15-20 minute drive away from the farm and calving at the moment. My father who lives 2 mins from the farm and would normally check them at night is on holiday. What cctv systems have people got fitted for remote monitoring? No phone line to the farm so would need to be 3 or 4g router.

It works ok, zooms in etc, but made in China and a bit cheap, I think I should have looked at :

I could but my Mrs wouldn’t be very happy. He’s got a few health problems as well so if I can watch them from a distance it would be easier on him as well.

If you had line of sight this might help . Bought a fantastic ptz ip camera of the above firm for around £350 +vat . I put some pictures on a thread on here call wifi lighting
