I am looking to upgrade my calving/lambing cameras with the help of The Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme.

I’m interested in anyone’s experience of systems supplied or made up. I want good quality cameras on wi fi to view on a phone/tablet. Ideally I’m looking to put individual cameras in 4 sheds.

I emailed Agri Camera twice 10 days apart in July as they are well recommended on the forum but sadly they haven’t bothered to reply back yet.

It would be easier to ring them, Jake and Ben are always busy but usually answer the phone or will ring get back to you. As far as the grant scheme goes the price they put on the cameras is no where near enough to get quality ones. From memory they are offering around £250 per camera on the grant and quality ones from agricamera will be nearly treble that.

Is there a minimum spend on this scheme? and where do you apply?
Looking to do lambing, calving and security cameras.

Yes the minimum spend is 7500 for 40% grant but as your profile says your in cornwall it's your lucky day cause you qualify for 50% grant, there are loads of other items on the list besides cameras but you better pull your finger out as it closes on 3rd September. Look up Countryside Productivity Small Grant scheme, it's easy to apply online.
