Are they any good, l see an 2011, 500cc for sale on gumtree up here, 2100, but think he would take 1850, are they a good bike, 4wd,auto box.??

I have a 2017 450 and very pleased with it. Big enough for me and toes well. Light and nimble but maybe be a little thirsty. have had it from new and nothing gone wrong other than the little hand brake lock that wore out its teeth, and £15 part(though mine was free under warranty) that took all of 3 mins to fit.

2018 450 here. Works perfectly. Only real fault is the local dealer went bust and it’s now a trek to get it serviced.

Aye bloody nice. 500 has the v twin engine. Plenty power and about the most comfortable to ride that I've ever owned.

Drive belt wears out because it's direct onto the crank without a separate centrifugal clutch, but it's cheap and quick to change.

Rear brake linkage can seize at the pivot, an hour will fix it.

Hardi spicers in the driveline have grease nipples which tend to be "forgotten". A clunking is usually a good sign there's a cup away, but again parts are cheap and not a big job to fix.

No idea upon price for a 2011 model, but they're well built and will take a lot of abuse.

I changed my 500 in for a 570 last year, and I don’t think the 570 is as good a bike tbh. The 500 is a lovely bike, and a lot smoother running than the 450, being the V twin engine. Very reliable & comfortable, with plenty of power when you need it.

Depends how it’s been treated in it’s 8 years though.....
