Can’t send Emails?

When I try sending an email the wording on the attached screenshot comes up . What has suddenly made this to happen.

Can you login to mail via a web browser (assuming that is via an APP)

It looks like you’re in the mail app on iPhone?

If so go phone settings, then mail, then accounts and you should be able to log into you email account again.

From the Home Screen go to settings:

Then find mail

now go to

Then you should find your email account to log back in.

It appears that the device (iPhone) that was authorised to access the account needs to renew the authentication. It happens every now and then to make sure your account is secure. As advised in earlier posts, selecting the account and entering the right password should resolve the issue.

Could be Windows mail has ended or ending and all changing to outlook MS mail or something so all old account hard to get at on the windows 7 or newer version system recently.

Many thanks for all your replies. Problem is partly resolved as although the “ Cannot Send Email” notification comes up when one sends the email, most emails seem to eventually be sent
