The very next day after I first read this thread I overtook an 1990 "H" reg MF3630 on a nearby road which is the first one ive seen "working" in a good 20 years!! Just another little anomaly I guess(y)...………...I got some pictures of it on the iPhone that I will post on here when I figure out how to upload them. I recall that the 3635 got introduced in 1990 also on an H reg so the one I saw must have been one of the last and had definitely seen some restoration as well. It had a new looking original style "fat" exhaust and not one of those black drainpipe looking things that the 3605 series all had. And its wheels had been resprayed too...………...unfortunately in silver paint which looked tacky! It should have been in Sapphire grey which looks gorgeous imo:)……………….and on a somewhat smaller and much less complex scale I just resprayed the wheels on this superb little model 3080 in the aforementioned grey, only the cab and grill surround were silver.

Theres a chap on youtube who posts up videos of his MF3120 and that's got a stainless steel exhaust which really enhances the sound of the tractor.

Test your wiring for the lights with a good size test bulb (12Volt 21W or the like), dont rely on the voltmeter. As its to easy to get 12Volts on it, then when you connect the lights, you'll have nothing ........
