Do you remember this time last year we were discussing who would be the next PM?

£10 says it's Corbyn
Ok, that's a deal!
Is there a "shakes hands" emoticon?

I've been waiting for the postman every day since last May, but it's been no good, no crisp Scottish £10 note has arrived. And I was hoping to buy some new shoes for the children.
Do you want to make it double or quits?

he can't payout til after the election:scratchhead:....unless you'll accept a lower,,,say fiver:D:D:D.....anyhoo what odds will you give me on a labour/lib dem/snp/green govt...the so called 'sterling dream ticket':D:D:D
I would think if you walked into a bookies with that proposition they would give you any odds you wanted. Then after you left they would shut up shop and go down the pub with your stake money safe in the knowledge you wouldn't ever see it again.

No no no, we were discussing it before the last election, do you remember that Cameron chappie who won?
It's double or quits if Corbyn loses like Miliband did.

10th May 2016. P8 of the thread Scottish Election, and on that date the PM was David Cameron.

Glasshouse: Yes , you are right, there are limits, and davidsons sexuality should not be mentioned. nor her weight.
I dont like her or her politics, but that should be it.
And i will give you odds on corbyn being PM.

SRRC: Put your money where your mouth is time?
I'll wager that the next PM will be a conservative.

Who won the bet as to whether Corbyn would the next PM, or a Conservative would be the next PM? Or do you consider the bet is not yet concluded? That is the question for posters of TFF who are in this case, the Jury.

It is Sunday morning and it is raining. Time for some frivolity.

I think the rules have been changed and there all now betting on the next "Elected" PM:scratchhead:

The next election was meant to be 2020, that was the basis of my bet, by which time TFF will have disappeared.:sneaky::sneaky:
SRRC said that the next pm would be a tory, which is a non bet till there is an election.
Little did we know a yr ago that cameron, osborne etc would be toast inside a month?

No. SRRC has twice offered "double or quits" on the next election. That is he still claims to have won that the next MP after Cameron would be a Conservative. Glasshouse has not accepted that offer at this stage, meaning he thinks he has not lost the original bet. The Jury is still out.

Glasshouse appears not to have taken into account that sometimes there are fallers in races, allowing a horse from way back in the field, or at long odds like Foinavon, to come through and win. there was no condition in the bet that there had to be a GE before the bet was finalised. It is up to the Jury to consider whether there was an implied condition.
