Capital works via HLS , payment time scale ?

UPDATE , well last Thursday I sent a e mail to the agent who drew up my HLS with RPA and as he still had permissions on my RPA a/c he could talk to them on my behalf . However over the week end I was contacted by a fellow TFF member giving me a RPA contact name and e mail address [his normal job is ??? , not payment section] so I sent a e mail pointing out the details . He e mailed back saying he would have a look .
Well , not sure who or which one has "knocked some heads" but just had email to say that my claim has been paid today and just checked and showing on bank feed !!!! Hurray !!
Its taken 20 weeks from submission but at least its now paid . Next dilemma , have probably £70k to claim for work I have completed since November but it covers 8 different options , so do I go "all in" and claim the whole lot in one with a mountain of photos and evidence which no doubt will get confusing for them or go smaller and just claim for one option ,[such as FG2 fencing, 9000m] , still £40k worth but at least its less confusing ???

Well I went 90 % all in and its £ 69k claim covering 5 options . Sent in 15 e mails with photo evidence , one e mail per parcel . Took me 5 hrs to do , take photos , upload to computer and then send each e mail with all the various In fo / photos attached. I m sure there a quicker way but I m not a computer whizz kid . See what happens ?

Did you just attach photos? Or embed them within a pdf or document?
In the past when I attached photos, the RPA email system didn’t work and was advised to send in as a pdf.

Sent further info for a claim on 9th Feb. Heard nothing from them so prodded them 10 days ago, so approx 2 months later. Took 2 days to respond and they want MORE info. FFS - it's only hedge laying!

I feel your pain @Princess Pooper !
Well first and second claim I printed my photos and sent by signed special delivery however they sent e mail after two days saying" where s your evidence " as I guess postage took a few days where as the claim was online . They then said one parcel was missing which was impossible as it all got sent together . She then said after I sent photos for that parcel by e mail , that they have to rescan paper photos back into digital so it must have got mislaid and it would be easier for them if I could send digital to start with ? As I said above , I have limited computer knowledge so decided to send each parcel as a separate e mail , 15, and just attached photos to e mail . Not heard anything good or bad yet and coming up a week on Wednesday

Last one i was notified after exactly 3 weeks that payment was on the way. Just passed that now and heard nothing (although there have been a couple of Bank Holidays. As I've said elsewhere on here, at a meeting where a lady from Defra was pushing Stewardship she confirmed all payments would now be made promptly, usually within a couple of weeks. Great to see the RPA keeping up their end.

I'm going to give it until Wednesday then make inquiries.

Normally 5 photo's of a maximum size (probably under 2mb each) per email... Can take a while ! Then they'd probably loose one or other of the emails...!

Had a chat with a very helful chap at the RPA this morning, he confirmed my claim / evidence docs were received a month ago, could see it had been assigned to someone weeks back, and then saw it has never been looked at. I explained I wasn't complaining, merely after an update, as after assurances re immeditae payment this was causing problems. I'm now waiting for a call back as he said my claim looked like a 5 minute job.

Defra shouldn't be promising immediate payment if the RPA arent going to be able to deliver.

After my chat on Tuesday I received an email yesterday afternoon to say my Claim has now been processed and should be paid in the next few days.

Got paid today looking on my online banking , 10 weeks to the day since claim . They threw up a query around 3 weeks ago requesting more photos [which I did following day] but have to admit that I thought that would really delay things but obviously not !
Thankyou RPA .
I think 8-10 weeks is an acceptable timescale so hopefully apart from my second claim which was 20 weeks plus , maybe they have things better organised ???

They're definitely upping their game, replies to emails are now 2 or 3 days, not weeks. Having an idea of payment date certainly helps, the system of claiming 2 or 3 weeks then taking 12 - 16 was ludicrous.
