A friend of mine has bought himself a 1990 1056xl. It has as new 380/70/r28 on the front, and bald 18.4/r38 on the back. The question is what is the ideal size of tyre to match the nearly new fronts?
Is it possible that he could fit 460/85/r38?
Any suggestions much appreciated. TIA

So will it be ok to match a 70 profile with a 85?

No problems with 70 and 85 series on together with the correct size. 520 70 38 is also an option and will fit om your existing rim

No problem fitting 460/85r38 but if it was mine I'd fit 520/70r38.
