Case 110 losing power

I have a Case 110 - 2009 that was losing power and wouldn't start. The diesel pump was reconditioned and fitted. The tractor started but within a mile down the road it started to cough and splutter and lost power. It just got back to the workshop and now won't best start. The diesel / tank / filters / hoses have been checked. Any ideas please.

We recently had this, ours had a small inline filter, the bloody internal filter collapsed and was closing as the lift pump sucked diesel
