Case 110 losing power

I have a Case 110 - 2009 that lost power and then refused to start. The diesel pump was reconditioned and fitted. The tractor started and was running fine. On the road test in less than a mile it started to cough and splutter and lost power. It managed to get back to the workshop and now it won't start. The diesel / tank / filters and hoses have been checked. Any ideas please.

lift pump some times when the lift pump is faulty it will run for hours ok then get power loss it might be the spring if its a bosch or diaphragm if its the other sort either way change it the worst it will cost is about eighty quid
