We have run the above for many years and has leaked many a gallon of back end oil out of dump valve. I have resealed it twice and it has improved things for a while but now seems to be as bad again. I don't know if the problem is made worse by it been used with tandem pump used to push all oil to loader as it is only used for loader duties. Any sugestions?

Not 100% certain about this but on early tractors I think the dump valve was optional?
If you unscrew the dump valve you can screw in a plug ( like the one next to the dump valve) to blank off and then get or make a replacement plate without a hole in to cover up.

The only difference it will make is lowering trailers or link arms without weight on will be slower

It certainly was, try Barclay Williams for a plug instead of the dump valve, you probably need the correct article so as not to interfere with the valve underneath.

Anything that will keep dirt out will do for blocking the hole in the cover plate.

Needs either No 6 or No 11 and a no 7. 6 and 11 are two different part numbers, can't remember now which the dump valve sits over.

Although a whole new valve might cure your problem, thinking back once they started leaking they were difficult to cure.
