Hi all . We have a case 4230 1998 4wd.
The tractor has twin under slung fuel tanks. The left hand tank as you're sat in the cab is covered in Hyd/trans fluid and drips about a cupful when left in the barn for a few days. Any ideas where to start . Thanks in advance
Thank you.Steam her off cleanly and then get down on your knees looking. Maybes able to lift a floor panel off and have a looky downwards but should show up fairly easy
Thank you. Will have a look. And report back.take the seat out, pull up the mat and you will find a panel which gives good access to the hyd. top cover area ......with the floor mat out you will see a plate underneath the foot pedals which may show something but it may well be too far forward to see anything......its kind of in line with the battery box
a blast with the steam cleaner, blow down with compressed air, then activate a few services to see if its related to any of them
