Case 5130

Hi All
new to this site
l have a 1996 Case 5130 that l am restoring as a COVID lockdown project
on my sons farm.
After many Hours of working on this l have the it driving perfectly and all gears are working.
l have not been able to get the 3 point hitch to work.
lock out control switch is flashing
l don,t have a wiring diagram and not sure where to start
Any suggestion welcome.
l have checked the fuse and it’s fine.
relay inside the control panel has no power and it’s not a bad connection in the
Mounting block that they plug into

It could be as simple as a re calibration, I know my old Mx needed the same.

Sometimes if the buttons on the mudguards are faulty they can cause the in cab controls not to work

Had to put a new 5 position switch in my one a few years back would start at mudguard switches though

It's probably caused by a fender button as previously stated, there is an earth wire runs through all 4 switches & grounds out under wing on the LHS.
Any bad contact in one of those buttons will cause the lamp to keep flashing.

Anyway, if you get stuck I'll have wiring diagrams

just took the guards of to paint and fix rust
will make sure the switches and earth wires have good connections

With the tractor running, push the five position switch all the way back , then all the way forward, then put to one click forward from central, your arm lift lever should work then. The light flashes all the time on mine, well it did until it failed after 22k hours!
