hi my 5140 blows the hydraulic oil return pipe off where it goes
into the fillter i am told this should not be under presure
oit only does it when using valves it will bale 50 -60bales
then blow if i fix it i only does 3 -4 and does it again so
have to let it cool off for a while any ideas thanks

are you on free flow return ??

i have orded it new filter should come today not sure it will fix it as the filter warning light
has not come on will let you know when new filters on thanks

the return goes through the filter I think before it goes to the pump or back end

your filter sensor or bulb might not be working

Can you please explain exactly what you are doing & how you have the hydraulic pipes plumbed in.
Photos might help.

ours did this the pipe goes soft after a while and wont hold pipe in, Got a piece of hydraulic pipe from hydraulic supplier 2 jubilee clips and a ratchet strap round it to be on safe side been fine since case seem to of discontinued the the joiner pipe

thanks for replies i put new filter on and ratchet strap been ok since
baled 90 yesterday no problems

I would get the sensor and bulb checked out for the hydraulic
