Hello all,
Was doing some digging with the old 580G a couple of days ago, but ive run into a problem. The left hand stabiliser will not lift. It is pushed down a small way into the ground but it sounds like the cylinder is going up and down (i think it is all the way down as it is in a slight dip) just the stabiliser itself does not move. The plate i welded on as a weight spreader (the originals are long gone) has bent and the pin is all the way in, could it be that the pin came out, ram went up but the plate then bent and pushed the pin back in? I'll have to chop the plate off anyway and pull the pin and have a look, but does anybody have ideas about what it could be? Also what thickness of plate should i be using?
Thanks
