Case 8455 round baler problems

Hi everyone my case 8455 round baler leaves a fluffy bit in the middle without twine wrapping and is it normal for it to do 3 wraps then cut the twine miss the middle *fluffy bit*and wrap the other side 3 times without putting it under the twine to hold it all together first time using my new purchased round baler also it appears the needle for the twine arms moves fast for the first rotation but slowly comes back to home but does a extra flick when its almost back in home position

Looks like you need more string all over the bale!!
Does it do net, string is so 90s, the time it takes to string a bale

Has the baler got different pulleys to put the twine around for changing twine feed rates like a RP 12 ? I reckon it wants going on a smaller pulley so it slows the speed of feed

Only do 400 rounds a year haha

Nah 2 pullys the same size for the twine

I thought that if the string is going slower on the bale the feed wont be traveling as fast across the bale so more string will be going on...You have me scratching my head now

I am struggling to remember what pulley did what on the rp12 now sorry . Have you a handbook for the baler

As a long time RP12 user I can confirm that the big pulley puts more string on.... And is even slower!!
